Honda > Oxygen Sensors > Choose Model

The oxygen sensor(s) in your vehicle is mounted in the exhaust manifold and/or the exhaust pipe close to the engine. Some vehicles have more that one sensor. The O2 sensor "sniffs" the exhaust and sends a message back to the vehicle's computer or emission system. This message is a recommendation of how much fuel or air the fuel injection or carburetor should be providing to the engine. Oxygen sensors are designed to operate in their harsh environment. But even in the best maintained vehicles, an O2 sensor can go bad.

Symptoms of a bad automotive oxygen sensor:

  • Poor Gas Mileage
  • Check engine light on or On Board Diagnosis indication
  • Rough engine idle
  • Engine Surging
  • Failed Emission test.
Most manufacturers recommend oxygen sensor replacement every 50,000 or 100,000 miles depending on your application.

Our high quality oxygen sensors are a great cure if your vehicle needs a sensor or if you are just doing preventative maintenace.
