Customer Q&A
In your video, you say to torque the axle nut to 156 ft-lbs. Timken's web sight says to torque it to 188 ft-lbs. To what tightness should this brand be torqued to?

It will depend on application. If you can provide the full year, make and model, and verify it is 4WD/AWD we can find out what torque spec is needed for your application.

Have a 2013 1500 GMC Sierra SLE 4 x 4 with rear drum brakes, disk front brakes..What is the torque for the front hub nut on the Timken or TRQ hubs?

The 1500s have 3 bolts that mount the hub assembly to the steering knuckle, other models have 4. Those bolts are tightened to 133 Ft-lbs. The Main axel nut that secures the hub to the CV axle is tightened to 177 Ft-lbs.

Is it normal to see a little bit of grease around the base of where the sensor wire attaches to the assembly when this part is new out of the box?

Yes. Some manufactures may have put some dielectric grease on the sensor before installing it.
