Clutch Master Cylinder |
The Clutch Master Cylinder is part of the hydraulic system used with manual transmissions. The clutch master cylinder takes the movement of the clutch pedal and uses it to push fluid to the clutch slave cylinder, which in turn moves the clutch fork, which in turn engages or disengages the clutch. Over time, the seals can break down from use and cause fluid to leak out of the system. Without proper fluil levels in the system, the clutch pedal can feel soft and not allow for proper movement of the clutch. |
