What is the Brake Light Switch? The brake lamp switch is located under the dash directly above the brake pedal and sends power to the taillights when the brake pedal is pushed.
How do I know if my Brake Light Switch is bad? If all of your taillamps stopped working and all fuses and relays are in working order, you may have a bad switch. A basic multimeter can be used to check for continuity between the pins in the connector to see if it is operating correctly. |
