This timing belt and component set is just what you need to keep your Volvo vehicle in good running order.

This high quality, timing belt set, contains the following pieces and has the following specifications:

  • (1) - Timing Belt - (OEM Grade) - 142 Teeth
  • (1) - Tensioner Bearing Assembly - Mechanical style
  • (1) - Idler Bearing
  • Fits the following Volvo engines as listed:
    • 2004-08 - L5 2.4L DOHC 20 Valve B5244S, B5244S6, B5244S4 or B5244S7 (VIN 38, 39, 61, or 64, 6th & 7th digit)
    • 2005-08 - L5 2.5L DOHC 20 Valve B5254T2, B5254T3 or B5254T7, (VIN 59, 68 or 69, 6th & 7th digit)
  • Only fits engines that uses a Mechanical style Tensioner
  • Does not fit engines that use a Hydraulic Tensioner

Please note: This timing belt set is designed for the professional installer. It does not come with any installation instructions. If you do not have a service manual, please consult a professional mechanic prior to installing this kit.

Most car manufacturers recommend changing your timing belt between 50,000 and 70,000 miles (consult your owner's manual to see what your specific manufacturer suggests).
