This high quality, timing belt set, contains the following pieces and has the following specifications:

  • (1) - Timing Belt - (OEM Grade) - 142 Teeth
  • (1) - Tensioner Bearing Assembly - Mechanical style
  • (1) - Idler Bearing
  • Fits the following Volvo engines as listed:
    • 2000-04 - L4 1.9L DOHC B4204T, B4204T2, B4204T3 or B4204T4 (VIN 25, 27, or 29, 6th & 7th digit)
    • 2001-04 - L5 2.3L DOHC 20 Valve B5234T3, B5234T9 (VIN 53 or 62, 6th & 7th digit)
    • 2001-05 - L5 2.4L DOHC 20 Valve B5244, B5244S, B5244S4, B5244S6, B5244S7, B5244T, B5244T3, B5244T4, B5244T5, B5244T7 (VIN 54, 56, 58, 61, 63, or 64, 6th & 7th digit)
    • 2005-06 - L5 2.5L DOHC 20 Valve B5254T2, B5254T4 (VIN 52 or 59, 6th & 7th digit)
  • Only fits engines that uses a Mechanical style Tensioner
  • Does not fit engines that use a Hydraulic Tensioner

Please note: This timing belt set is designed for the professional installer. It does not come with any installation instructions. If you do not have a service manual, please consult a professional mechanic prior to installing this kit.

Most car manufacturers recommend changing your timing belt between 50,000 and 70,000 miles (consult your owner's manual to see what your specific manufacturer suggests).
