Local shops wanted a bit more $$ and was a thinner guage meterial. Shape of the corners fit sane as OEM.

They did not cover the hole rocker panel. The body man had to add a piece to completely cover everything. They only covered the first lip. Which them cost me more money then if I would of gotten more expensive ones.

These are very good for lots of options. They are priced good. Comes in complete kit. Can be put on the fast cheap way. Or trimed welded and finished out nicely. Ive done both ways. Have bought several sets. And will buy more.

Both of the rockers showed up bent, one not being usualble. Tried to get a new one , nothing from the company gave up on it

Pretty good product. Didn't really want to write a 50 character review about it, but I can tell you, it does fit and it will work. I use to self etching primer and two coats of semi gloss Rust-Oleum.

The outer rocker panels on my 2003 Silverado were completely rusted out. I purchased these slip-on rocker covers and they fit like a glove. Very easy to put on with basic welding skills. The inner rocker panel on the one side of my truck had a bit more rust than I expected to find, so that one did require a little more fabrication than I expected. This is a project I should have probably done a year or two ago and it would have been a cakewalk.

Installed cab corners and rockets on my 04 Silverado They fit really well with very little modification. Did cut the length of cab corners down because I didn't need to go so high and used clear rock guard finish on completion. Overall good product

We were very happy with the price of these but I was shocked when the rockers arrived with no packaging at all except a band to hold the two together. The label was literally just stuck to the metal. You could tell they had been banged and battered during delivery so there were several dings, dents etc. My fianc is not happy about the extra work that is going to have to be done just to try to straighten some of this out. Some of it will not be possible to straighten.

Great kit and fit nice! As always with 1AAuto great service and fast free shipping! Only reason for four starts is one of the rocker panels came with a bent end and I had to straighten it out! Ended up cutting out the old rust and using automotive epoxy instead of welding the new panels in, job took a total of two days including painting it! Highly recommend

Ideally these should be a weld on however you can attach any way you choose. Rivet, weld or glue on. The rocker repair covers just the underside and does not wrap around up to the door sill pinch weld.

Sure it can. I welded the rockers along the door seal area and used tec screws under the truck. I also filled the voids with a thick epoxy to seal it. If you pop rivet the panels on I would use a good sealer to weather proof the seams.

no, crew cab is 4 full size doors. Ext cab 4 door has the half rear suicide doors. Both have different cab lengths.

they are designed to butt weld in if you want a nice flush fit. You can fit over the rusty parts but will require more finishing work to make them look good

Put the new ones up to see how they fit. But you do have to cut all old out and clean it up. Do one side at a time and make sure doors are level and still shut properly.

They are close to factory thickness. About a 1ft back from fender. Your original rockers get thinner than close to fender if you look there's a seam Remember these are basically a slip on rocker but with a little trimming on the end they fit nice and can be welded and finished nicely. Cab corners are nice.

This is four pieces: left rocker, right rocker, left cab corner, right cab corner. Make sure you have selected the correct cab (std, extended, four door), and the rockers will go from cab corner to the seam under the front of the doors. One kit fixes one truck.

The panel welds in and goes from under door and curves under truck. It sits from from very front of doors back to cab corners. Has cut outs for door latch. Not sure what would be 50% it is the full rocker panel.

Its the outer rocker panel, it covers up to the first flat surface where the door seals hit, and goes under to meet the inner rocker panel. Good heavy metal.
