Had trouble starting in park and getting trans in reverse. Tired of lubing switch. Replaced and now able to get reverse without playing with stick. Truck is a 2001 f150 got my moneys worth out of old switch.Just use some PC Blaster and wait 1/2 hr makes it easier to remove from shaft. Or do what I did pried it off who cares if it broke.

Fixed my no crank no start problem my f150 only started in neutral until buying this now good and I put this on months ago love buying from here only thing I would change is wish the free shipping was faster

It didn't work. I followed the video step for step and even the troubleshooting suggestions and it still didn't work. I had to to put the old one back on (which still worked enough to start the truck but not clear the check engine light) and order the Motorcraft part from Ford! I've never had a problem with other parts from 1A so I guarantee you I was disappointed to have this happen. FORTUNATELY, the company stood by their policies and gave me a full refund which makes me confident I will continue to do business with 1A again in the future!

On you tube. Make sure to check the shift linkage Where It Bolts up to the column shifter under the dash. the bolts loosen up. common issue with Ford vehicles not starting in Park position.

I am sure that there is a video either on this site or on YouTube. When you do install it there is a slight adjustment that you can make to make sure that the engine will crank when it is in neutral or Park.

No there is no video just chech the plug before removing the center nut all so you have to stabilize The shaft to get it loose or. Then the pan will have to come down will bend the link

What size are the bolts (metric or standard,etc.) that connect this part to the transmission? We are missing one bolt, so explains a lot, after we already replaced the shift tube and still fighting this. Thank you.

I dont have my books with me right now. Take one bolt to tractor supply, Ace hardware, ore one of the car parts places ant use their thread count tool. Older Lincolns will be standard. But they have a tool for both.
