This REAR UPPER Shock Mount Bracket repair kit is an aftermarket set that is designed to replace a broken, rusted, or rotted shock mount bracket. It includes all the necessary parts to do a professional repair.

After years of exposure to the elements, the metal on the shock bracket will tend to start flaking and rust away, eventually leading to bracket failure. Once this happens, the rear shock will not be able to be attached to the truck. This kit is designed to replace the damaged bracket and bring back the strength and integrity of the rear shock system again.

Specifications:

  • Fits the LH (driver side) REAR UPPER
  • Replaces dealer part number: 15530011
  • Built to strict quality control standards
  • Kit includes:
    • (1) Rear Upper Shock Mount bracket
    • (4) Mounting bolts
    • (4) Locking nuts
  • Fits 1988-2000 GMT 400 4WD (4 Wheel Drive) Platforms*

Note: For Yukon, Tahoe, and Suburban models: due variances in frames used throughout this year range, we ask you to measure original mount to verify fitment. Using a measuring tape and the attached image as a guide, measure the distance from A to B, B to C, & C to D. Following the contour of the bracket, from center to center.

This kit has enough parts to do one rear upper shock bracket. If you need to do both sides, please purchase the pair.

This rear upper shock bracket kit is a great replacement and offers good value over dealer individual pieces.
