Ignition lock cylinder is high quality and was very easy to install. Total removal and installation time was less than 30 minutes and it worked perfectly. Very Happy with the lock. It was easy to re-key and install. I would defiantly recommend this lock if your having problems with your ignition.

It was my understanding from the online order form was that it would come with a set of tumblers so I could use my key with the new lock mechanism. I called Dorman and they indicated that the picture online was old, and that separate tumblers were not provided for quite a number of years. To make it work, I used my old inner with the tumblers, and used the new outer mechanism.

If you want to use your previous key, bring it to a locksmith before installing. From start to finish installing cylinder is about 20 minutes. Easy.
