Geo Ignition Coil

Your Ignition coil plays a major role in the electrical ignition system of your vehicle. The coil essentially converts the 12 volts from your battery, to the thousands of volts necessary to allow the current to jump the spark plug gap.

Typically an ignition coil does not slowly begin to fail. They either work or they don't work. The only real symptom of a bad coil is a no start condition.
