Car & Truck Headliners:
Interior car and truck headliners can trap dirt, moisture, and odors. We offer exact replacement automotive headliners to cure these ills. In general we offer two styles of auto headliners:
Auto Headliners 1974 and earlier: Cars used fabric headliners that were suspended from the vehicles ceiling with flexible metal rods or bows. These auto headliners are sold sewn together with the pockets for the bows. Most of our pre 1973 GM car and truck headliners come with the matching fabric covered cardboard side panels. These panels mount between the side and rear windows.
Auto Headliners Post 1974: Car and truck manufacturers went to a molded pressboard style headliner. These automotive headliners have a rigid cardboard backing and are covered with foam backed cloth. Many vehicles experience the “sagging” interior headliner due to the fact that the cardboard backing absorbs moisture and/or the foam backing degrades over time and the cloth “lets go.” Our replacements for these headliners solve the “sagging” in two ways.
First, the rigid back is a molded ABS plastic that will not absorb moisture. Second, the foam backing of the headliner is now poly based so it will not degrade.
Our car and truck interior headliners are sold as the headliner only. You will need to retain and re-use your original mounting hardware.
