Order the whole distributor since it was only a few more dollars to get the whole thing instead of just the rotor and cap. My mechanic said it fit like a charm. Of course it needed a little adjustment but what doesn't right? I love 1auto and I will always continue to order my guaranteed to fit parts from you guys. Thank you for the excellent service on my other orders that I ordered the same day!

Perfect fit ! Lined up the timing marks on pulley took Distributor cap off to see mark on the Distributor and pulled the old one out and the new one went right in . Got everything hooked up and truck fired right up. This Distributor is made of better materials than the OEM one. Will definitely check at 1AAuto next time I need parts

This is the third distributor for my 4.3L Vortec V6. The last two OEM distributors were fine with fit and electrical performance, but given time had two annoying problems. First, the threads that are supposed to accept screws that hold the cap and rotor in place are plastic for the cap and cheap thin metal for the rotor... very easily strip out causing slop. Secondly, the drive shaft starts wobbling over time causing more slop. I am confident that the cap is secure on this TRQ unit and will revise my rating after some time has passed. So far is an improvement over the original distributor in my educated view!

So far so good. My old distributors gear stripped causing me to get out of time. The only thing with this one was the blade that turns the oil pump was wider making it harder to seat. But it did seat.

I'm very disappointed with this distributor. It is not aluminum. Shaft is plastic. It wouldn't seat properly. It's very misleading to say that this distributor is made out of aluminum.

I was really impressed with the EDA64659 distributor I bought for my 2001 Chevy blazer performance came back immediately and gas mileage. This is a very good product.

Great replacement for 02 Sonoma 4.3. Great value for distributor, rotor, cap, and Cam sensor all in one. There was excess plastic flash on the rotor cap. Easily fixed with a razor knife.

The hold down is a separate clamp and bolt on the intake manifold. It clamps down upon the circular flange pictured just above the gasket. The distributor is clamped in place after the timing is set. Hope this helps..
