What is a Body & Subframe Bushing?
The name of these parts depends on where they are located.  As you may have guessed, if they are between the subframe and the body, they are known as Subframe Bushings.  If they are found on a full framed car between the body and the frame, they are known as Body Mount Bushings. They often look like hockey pucks with large washers on the outer side and a bolt going through the center.

How do I know if my Bushings are damaged?
When these body & subframe bushings were out or become damaged, they could have a variety of symptoms.  These symptoms could include:
- Body panels misaligned
- "Clunking" when applying brakes or gas
- Additionally vibrations felt throughout the body of the vehicle
- Possible wheel alignment issues

Can I replace these Bushings myself?
On many vehicles, this can be done with a floor jack, a few jack stands, some larges sockets, and plenty of perseverance. Some vehicles are more difficult than others, but the majority can be done within the comforts of your driveway.
