The GMC S-15 Jimmy and its twin the Chevy S-10 Blazer are mid-size SUV's built by General Motors Corporation from '83-05. Based on the same platform as the GMC S-series trucks, the GMC S-15 Jimmy was a strong SUV capable of traveling on and off road. In 2001 the S-15 Jimmy was phased out to make way for the newer GMC Envoy, though the Jimmy would remain in production until 2005.
